Zimmerman.GRIFFINMrs. Reory Beckly was called to Morehouse, Mo. last Sunday to visit a sick brother.Several of our people attended the chowder and Liberty meeting at the Union church in Wabash Township Thursday. A large audience was In attendance, good speaking was the order of the day, the speakers were Rons. Sanford Trippitt and J. T. Ballard of Princeton, and Byron Johnson of OArensvllle. The receipts from the Red Cross sale were about $87.00. All present enjoyed themselves immensely.Will Price and Jesse Reeves who were recently called to the colors write back that they are all O. K. and well satisfied and think they will be pleased with army life,Sidney Hyatt, Grover Oiler, Chas. Moutry, 'J. L. Green and Harrold Warpenburg leave Thursday Aug. 20, and will join the colors in the field. This is another bunch of patriots that wo are proud of.Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Martin and sons, Frank and Thomas, of McLeans* boro, 1)1. are guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Price, Mrs. J. F. Brydon and Mrs. Charles Schnarr.The Infant child of Mr. and Mrs. C. Klsperman died Saturday.Mr. ai d Mrs. Lee Arnold of Robb Township visited Rufus Arnold Saturday and Sunday. ^The irfant child* of Mr. and Mrs. Thom Rldens died Sunday night.
