JUDGE ANDERSON HEARS MANY OASESThe Aug ist term of the district court convened here Monday evening with Judge Anderson presiding and C. E. Stanley as official reported.The term is for three weeks and the following number of cases are docketed: criminal 6, law 69, chancery 88, probate 53, and juvenille 4. Total 320.The following were drawn as grand jurors for the term: J. W. Wainseott, Douds-Leando; G. W. Davidson, Keosauqua; D. R. Hornbaker and H. A. Whitmore, Bonaparte; A. G. Murdock, Milton; R. W. Boon, Birmingham; A. R. Dan els, Bentonsport.Mr. Davidson was appointed foreman, Miss Lona Maltbie, clerk, and Bert Jamison, bailiff. L. K. Savage is the court bailiff.The grand jury was in session Tuesday, Wednesday and yesterday. It is understood three cases are being investigated, the Cain Russell murder case of course being the principal one. The following matters have been passed upon-CRIMINAL State vs. Otis Etka. Larcency by embezzlement. Continued for .term on application of defendant.State vs. Dell Robinson and VVilia Robinson. Grand larcency. Continued on application of defendants.State vs. Harry Derr.
