Was Sitting On Stile Wiie un Beside Him—Entire Removed At Park Hospital Willard Bolsover, the 42 year old son of Mr. and Mrs... Albert Bolsover, residing on the Dillon farm just east of this city on the Lacko pike, was this morning about ten o’cloeck the victim of a very painful accident when his left arm was almost completely blown off by an accidental dis charge of a shot gun. Young Bolsover had been Peem ing aout the farm with a single barrel shot gun in quest of smelt game and had crossed the road and with his little six year old sister was sitting on the top step of a stile which crosses a wire fence at that place. The sister sat on the left side of the boy and the gun was placed on the step below with the barrel lean ing against young Bolsover’ body. The lad and his little sister had hardly been seated when the gun, slipped, and the trigger striking on the step caused the gun to ex plode forcing the entire load of shot into the boys left arm, just below the shoulder. The bone was torn and shattered and near ly all the muscles of that portion of the arm were shot off. Lucki ly the sister escaped without any injury whatsoever. Immediately after the accident the injured lad was removed to his lime and Drs. Smith ,and Shorty of this city were called. After a thorough examination the physicians saw that nothing but an amputation of the arm could relieve the boy's suffering son con sequently the lad was brought to the Park hospital and the arm taken off at the shoulder. This afternoon the lad was resting easily and if no unseen complications arise will improve rapidly but for the rest of his life will haveut the age of, J one arm as a result of the unfortu nate accident.
