Hi ley* is not a resident of the State of Missouri:Whereupon, it is ordered by the clerk in vacation that said defendant be notified by publication that plaintiff baa commenced a suit against him in this court, the object and genera! nature of which is to obtain a judgment on a promissory note in favor ofJ. N. Hay signedby A. L. Riley, with the plaintiff 1, S. W. Boswell as sureity, and which has been fully paid bv the said plaintiff, S. W. Boswell, and that unless the said A. L Riley be and appear at this court* at the next term thereof, to be begun and hidden at the court house in the town of Forsyth, in said county, on the£*ddayof October next, and on or before the third day of said term, if the term shall so loo g continue— and If not, then on or before the last day of said term—answer or plead to the petition in said cause, the same will be taken as confessed, and judgment will be rendered accordingly*And it is further ordered, that a copy hereof be published, according to law, in the Taney County Republican, a newspaper published in said county of Taney, for four weeks successively, the last insertion to be at least four weeks before the first day of said next October term of this court.J.
