POLICE COURT. Before A. H. Griesbach and Geo. W. Gairdner, J. P.’s, Malcolm McKinlay was charged by R. Riddell with obtaining money under false pretences. Pleaded not guilty and case dismissed. Before G. W. Gairdner, J. P., Neil Mc Leod was charged with having a horse illegally in his possession. He was remand ed until Tuesday (tomorrow) at two o’clock for further evidence. At St. Albert on Saturday before Geo. W. Gairdner, J. P., Jos. Bellerose, charged with riding off a horse, the property of S. A. Carson, Namao, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment at Fort Saskatchewan, with hard labor.
