The Indians to be Driven Back [Species Migrated to the Renton Reward, Four AssiNapomve, Aug. 22 — An expedi ton consisting of companies Lord, Ly Second Cavalry, and Dy Elghteinth Infantry, with artillery, all after command of Captain M. Lt. O'Brien, Company Hy Second Cavalry, stated yesterday for service below Belknap, their orders being to prevent Northern Indi ans from trespassing our Mie Gros Ventres inservation and to oppose their crossing the same to reach game below. ‘The intendon is to keep the Canadian Indians where they bee long, one other side of the line, and the commanding officer at Assinaboine, Major Morris, Eighteenth Infantry, will judiciously see the small force under his commandance complish that purpose. Iha #aid that a band of objectionable Indians are below Belknap among the buffilo, and the expedition will drive tem across the border. Company yy Eighteenth Infantry, under command of Captain, Lloyd, goes down the river on Vie Rose Bus to assist in putting up military telegraph lines. +
