Surrattsville Tournament Southern Prince George’s county was fully represented at the annual tourna ment given at Surrattsville Wednesday for the benefit of St. John’s Catholic Church. Twenty-six knights participated in the amateur class. Theodore Gates, Knight of River View, was first and crowned Miss Jennie Cox queen of love and beauty. S. Henson, of Virginia, was second and crowned Mrs. Emma Henson first maid of honor. Page Bowie, Knight of Mt. Oak, was third and Godfrey Moller, Knight of Silesia, was fourth. In the professional class A. D. Lang ley, Knight of Anheuser Busch, was first, and crowned Miss Eva B. Hardy queen of love and beauty. Theodore Gates, Knight of River View, was sec ond, and crowned Miss Myrtle Walk er first maid of honor. L. Her ron, Knight of Washington Bay, was third, and Phil Love, Knight of Prince George’s County was fourth. The chief Marshall was Frank S. Barnee, of La Plata, Charles county his assistant being Henry Kirby, of Prince George’s county. The herald was Rudolph C. Goddard, of Prince George’s county. The judges were: A. T. Robinson, William F. Holmead, candidate for state senator; Dr. Ed gar D. Hurtt, George Merrick, Frank Stephen, Oliver S. Metzerott and P. Reed Wills.
