John Bowdish Dutcher. John Bowdish Dutcher, who since 1864 had been a Director of the New York Harlem Railroad and in charge of the stock transportation department of the New York Central Hudson River Rail road, died in his home at Pawling, N. Y., on sunday night. He was 81 years old. Mr. Dutcher was a member of the State Assembly from 1861 to 1862, and of the State Senate in 1864 and 1865. He was a Director in the Fifth Avenue Bank of New York and President of the National Bank of Pawling, and was a member of the Union League and Transportation Clubs and the St. Nicholas Society of New York. He served for two years as President of the New York State Agri cultural Society. Mr. Dutcher took a prominent part in Republican politics. In 1860 he married Miss Christina Dodge of Pawling, who survives him.
