WILLIAM Oil DIED DIED FRIDAY EVENINGPassed Away After Intense Suffering.• After a short sickness William Ott passed away at his home Friday evening August 23, 1907 at 6:45, death resulting from Spinal Meningitis. For several days before taking to his bed he had not been I'eeiing as well as usual and Sunday was suffering such pain that a doctor was called. From the first it was a very critical case and several doctors were in attendance as was a trained nurse also but all that was done was to no avail and on Friday evening death came as a release • from terrible suffering. The grief expressed at his death was universal for Mr. Ott numbered many friends. His cheery manner was for all, poor as well as rich, and of him it can besaid that he was an honorable citizen, a sincere friend’and a charitable man.
