LOCAL LABOR NOTES.Henry W. Goetzinger, secretary of the state board of arbitration, has addressed a letter to the local Trades Assembly notifying it that the board is properly organized and ready to perform Its duties as arbitrator or mediator when called upon as required by law.The butchers’ union has elected W. H. Fisher president to succeed Wm. Brown, resigned.The new officers of the Cooks and Waiters’ union, are: President, Marshall Hebner; vice president, Miss Etta O’Donnell; treasurer, Fred McKelvey; recording secretary, Miss Josie Wilson; financial secretary, J. B. McCom-ber; business agent, Leslie Copeland.Henry Pereault attended the meeting of the Superior Trades Assembly last Tuesday evening as a fraternal delegate from the local assembly.J. W. Richardson has completed compiling the official Labor Day Program which will be from the press in a few days.C. E.
