The Democracy in Butte. Fornstown Aug., 25 1860. At a meeting of the Regular National Dem ocrats of Fornstown convened for the pur pose of electing delegates to the County Convention to be held at Oroville on Satur day next Sept., 1st. On motion J. W. Vail was elected to the Chair and Sail. I. Hege man Secretary, A Committee was then appointed to draft resolutions showing the object of the meeting and reported as follows : Resolven: That we will give our united support to Stephen A. Douglas and Herschel V. Johnson, the regularly nominated candidates of the De mocracy for President and Vice President of the United States, Resouven, That the Bolters and Seceders who withdrew from the National Democratic Conven tion at Baltimore were an unauthorised faction Resolven, That we are opposed to disunion or sectionalism from whatever quarter it may come and by whomsoever supported whether by the adherents of Breckinridge or Lincoln. The following Delegates were duly elected ; Robert Ghallagher, A. 8. Shaw and Jacob Allenbach. The meeting then adjourned with three rousing cheers for Douglas and Johnson, Yours e,, H,
