At our affizes twelve per-fons were capitally convicted, viz. William Hemming, and Jeremiah Workman, for horfe-ftealinsr Samuel Beard, for fheepftea mg; Iho-Swiiliams, for a rape; RichardI Btdnug, aent. Edward Taylor, and Mary Wilkins (fer-?ant to Bidmead), for robbing the houfe of John Witts, of Bifley, or 300I. Thomas Greenwood and Thomas Townfend, for a burglary and robbery; William Kelly, lor the murder of Rd •Over; and William Daw and Rd. Rooke, for the murder of 'a baftard child. James Warner, charged by Kelly, with aiding m the murder or Rd Dyer, was acquitted.
