Hr.Williel Stewart, 65, Logan businessman ) and community leader, died Sunday evening of a heart ailment. He was born April 9, 1866, in Logan, a son of James Z. and Julia Ann Fitz gerald. ‘The elder Mr. Stewart was a Plunger In northern Utah and was first President of Brigham Young Collese, Logan, W. OH. Stewart lved ta Logan through out his life, attending schools here and Brigham Young College and Utah State Agricultural College. He filled a mission to the northern states for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from November, to February, 1569. Mr. Stewart taught school there two years and married Mate Hichards Nov. #2, 1911, in the Logan LDS Temple, ile was a member of Logan Eleventh LDS Ward and a New priest in the art. Logan Stake, Ile had been a mem ber of various other cnueeds organizations and the Chamber of Commerce, Logan Mounted Police (charter member), Cache Pesce Officers Assn, and local real estate and insurance associations. Surviving are his widow and four sons and daughters: Hold HH. and T. Lynn Stewart, Logan, Mrs. Richard (Galt) Knight. Brunner OGDEN—Mrs. Myrtle Katherine Graci- oMi Bruner, 52, Richfield, died Sunday at 10:35 p.m. In an Ogden hospital of a heart ailment. She was born Oct. 4, 1898, at Oak Park, Jr., a daughter of Anthony and Cecilia Nuermann Giacielli. She had resided in Aztec, N. M., and Los Angeles, Cal., before moving to Richfield four years ago. On Aug. 28, 1919, she was married to Albert H. Brunner in New York City. She was a member of the Richfield Community Church, and held member ship in the Church Guild Club, the Art and Study Clubs, and the Pallette’ and Brush Club. She was a member of the Richfield LDS Mothers' chorus and of the Utan Federation of Women’s Clubs. Glacial, Oak Park, OL. John F. Davis OGDEN,Joan Floyd Davis, 49, 1382 23rd St. died Monday morning in an Oxden hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Davis was born April 1, 1902, in West Weber, a son of John T. and Eliza beth Billings Davis. He had resided in Weber County throughout his life with the exception of three years spent in Montana. For many years he engaged in mining and construction work and at one time was employed by the Amalgamated Susar Co. For the past 10 years he had worked at Utah General Depot as a mechanic foreman. In August, 1924, he married Jennie Hickman in Salt Lake City. She died in 1935 in Ogden. Surviving are one son, Jerry Leon Da vis, Oden; his parents, Ogden; one sis ter, Mrs. Charles A. (Barbara) Cole. Ogden, Charles Stahley EVANSTON, Wyo.—Charles Stahley, 7H, last surviving member of a prominent Uinta County family, died at his home here Saturday at 7:30 p.m. of a heart ailment. Mr. Stahley was born on a ranch near Almy, June 20, 1878, the youngest son of Jacob and Bertha Mons Stahley. Short ly after his birth the family moved to property now known as the Stahley Ranch on Yellow Creek. On Sept. 15, 1903, he married Anne Christensen at Evanston. She is his sole survivor, . Thomas Leroy Pass HUNTSVILLE—Thomas LeRoy Pass, 53, prominent Ogden Valley resident and Huntsville rancher, died Slonday at 3:10 a.m. in an Ogden hospital following a stroke. Mr. Pass was born Sept. 6, 1681, at Nephi, a son of Thomas and Euphamie Reid Pass. We had resided in Huntsville for the past 45 years. He had taken an active part in planning and maintaining the Ogden Valley free- Ration Assn. for the past 40 years. He had been a government stock inspector, a local director of the soil conservation services and was a past president of the Weber County Farm Bureau. Mr. Pass was a high priest in the Huntsville Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had served as assistant superintendent of the Middleton Ward Sunday School. as Un June y, 1yn ¥, he married Josephine Allen in Orden. Blaine Davis Williams CEDAR CITY (Speecial—Blaine Davis Williams, 8, son of Jack M. and Lorraine Pollock Williams, Hurricane, died in a local hospital late Sunday of undeter mined causes. He was born Nov. 6, 1942, in Seattle and came with his family to Hurricane when two years of age. Until the past few months the family had resided in Tuc son, Ariz., where the boy attended pub lic schools. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Jack M. Algeroy Penfold HAGERMAN, Ida.—Algeroy Penfold, 79, retired farmer and stockman died Sunday at his home here. He was a Hagerman Valley resident for 39 years and of Idaho for 55 years. Mr. Penfold was born in Heber, Utah, April 3, 1872. He married Rachel Price in 1893 in Heber. She preceded him in death. Mrs. Robertson was born April 11, 1879, at Harrisville, Weber County, a daughter of Thomas B. and Emma White Guthrie. She was educated in Weber County schools. On Nov. 23, 1903 she was married to George C Robertson in Ogden. He died here Nov. 5, 1542. Hol strom, 56, died Monday of a heart ail ment. Born Feb. 12, 1901, in Sweden, the man had been in Jerome only a short time. He went to work at the Idaho Products Co, Monday morning and after complaining of not feeling well, suf ered a heart attack and died at work.
