Father of Dean Ferguson Buried Friday EveningSlepbenville, Aug. 21.—Funeral services for C. E. Ferguson, 78, resident of Erath county for 72 years, were held here Friday at 3:30.Ferguson had lived longer in Erath county than any other living citizen.He was the father of five college officials. Three of his sons are deans of Texas colleges. Two daughters are members of college faculties.Dean A. C. Ferguson of East ! Texas State Teachers College at Commerce, is a son of the late C- E. Ferguson.A group of Commerce people visited Stephenville Friday to attend the funeral.
