FLINT HILLThe Flint Hill base bail team defeated the “Teapot Domes” of St. Louis Sunday at Flint Hill by thescore of 3 to 0.Miss Mathilda Honcrkamp of St. Charles spent last week with Mrs. Elizabeth Honerkamp and family.The picnic given at Flint Hill by St. Theodore's Parish Wednesday, Aug. 19th was a great success. A large crowd attended and enjoyed agood time.The stork visited at the home cf Mr. and Mrs. Leo Orf last week and left a fine baby boy. He was given the name of Marion Joseph Stephens in baptism.Mr, and Mrs. Thco. Fclderwcrth and family spent Saturday in St. Louts.Miss Juanita Clausncr returned toSt. Charles last week Thursday where she is employed after spending a few weeks with homcfolks.Miss Mamie Eisenbath of Joseph-ville spent Thursday and Friday with Mathias Sachs and family.Miss Alberta Klotz and Miss JennieMoraty of St. Charles spent a few days with Mrs. Carrie Rothermich and family.Quite a few from here attended the dance at Old Monroe Firday night.COTTLEVILLE9Miss Isabel and Anna Hillcnkamp attended the McCluer-Johnson wedding at O’Fallon Friday evening.Miss Marie Mcrx visited relatives in St. Louis last week.Miss Carrie Wehmeycr and Mr. Amor Fehr wer married in St. Charles Wednesday afternoon. The attendants were Miss Anna Phieffcr a friend of the bride’ and Mr. Roy Fehr a brother of the groom. After the ceremony they returned to the bride's home and a delicious wedding supper was served. The bride wore a dress of peach color gorgette crepe and the bridesmaid wore a powder-blue dress of the same material.
