• , , WALNUT.•******•♦**•On last Monday, Mr. Columbus Saul’s mother was laid to rest here. Rev. S. P. Higgins conducting the funeral services. Mrs. Saul was a .rood Christian woman, and was loved bj. all who knew her. We sympathize with her children and grand children in their bereavement.Mrs. Hester Banks is visiting her mother, Mrs. John Usher, who is se-riousy ill at a Gainesville hospital.We were sorry to learn that Mrs. Andrew Morgan was in a Gainesville hospital for treatment, too.Mr. Hartwell Brown is confined to his room with malaria, but trust he will soon be out again.-Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stancil of Atlanta were visiting here recently.Rev. and Mrs. W. F. Evans and little son, Weldon, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Barnett. Mr. Floyd Evans and family spent Sunday p. m. with them.Mr. Floyd Evans has added another room to his dwelling, and just finished painting it, which adds greatly to its appearance.Everybody is invited to come to Sunday school, and try to be promptly on time; and remember that the B. Y. P. U. meets early every Sunday evening.
