The Okaw being a daughter of the might\ river into which it flows, it possesses an attraction for the boys, and the latter when going anywhere must ofcourse take the girls along. There was quite a number of the representatives of Centralia’s youth and beauty in this picnic excursion, and as the country around about !VKeyesport is pleasant, they enjoyed ' their frolic immensely. Upon their re- j turn, one of the boys who was asked how they enjoyed themselves, enthusiastically answered: “Oh, we had a bullv time; more fun than von could shake a stick at. We rowed, rambled about in the w oods, fished, and did everything!” From this explanation it is easy to discover that the young folks had a very pleasant time.
