(By Associated Press) RICHMOND, Ind., Aug. 26.— Howard Kink was arrested last night and is being held as a mater ial witness in connection with the killing today of Leroy A. Brown, a poolroom proprietor, who was shot, according to police, by Lon Leach, Pennsylvania railroad employe. Leach is held on a charge of first degree murder. Leach admits the shooting, po lice say, but says it was in self-de fense, alleging that Brown threat ened to kill him and attacked him with a metal signal staff. King was with Brown when he was killed the police say. Brown was to have been married next week. His body will be taken to Burning Springs, Ky., his form er home. Leach is married and has two children.
