The murderer of Curt Cronemeyer, a wealthy, excentric store keeper at Allentown, has been captured by Sheriff Roberts, of Gallup. His name is Victor Wezer, and he was taken in custody at El Paso, Texas, brought back to Apache county Tuesday eve ning, and made a confession of his guilt to the authorities. It is said his arrest was brought about by his wife, whom he had deserted some time previously, and who furnished the officers with the evidence of his guilt. Wezer named three other Mexicans who were with him the night of the murder, M. Nuanez, Blas Lozano, Del bino Rosales. Wezer claims that Nu anez and Lozano went back to the store, after the four had eaten the lunch given them by Cronemeyer, with the intention of forcing him to give them money. He waited some time and as the two did not return, he started toward the store and heard several shots fired, then saw Lozano and Nuanez running from the store. Wezer and Nuanez had previously worked for Cronemeyer. Was a Most Brutal Murder According to the confession of Lo zano, the murder of Cronemeyer and McDonald at Allentown in June, was a deliberately planned, brutal double murder. He confesses that he, with another Mexican named Wezer stood behind the two other Mexicans who started a quarrel with the murdered men, one with a 30-20 Widenester and the other with a six-shooter, that neither of the murdered men were armed and both were behind the counter when they opened fire, Wezar shooting his man three times and he Lozano shooting Cronemeyer twice. Then the four made their escape to gether.
