As near as we can learn, the circumstances, Henry Pollard was furiously driving towards West Jlridgewater onjtlie l evening of the 2JUI, when he overtook and drove on to the wagon of Silas Colton, whose horse, becoming unmanageable, also ran, throwing out Mr. Col'-on and demolishing his carriage, and soon collided with the stage driven hy Calvin Carpenter. About the first thing Mr. Carpenter saw m the darkness was the horse dash in between the span he was driving, and, with the cries ol lady passengers, kicking of horses and some big words from the first cause (who doubtless thought everybody present was tight but himself;, it made quite a lively time for a few moments. No one was badly injured, but considerable damage was done to property us a result.
