Belton Briefsby Jane McDonnellMrs. Harriette Head and son Bill from San Francisco and aunt May Olson of Phillipsburg, were in headquarters recently calling on old friends and neighbors, the Mahoneys, Stevens, Shavens, and Wiles. Several years ago Mrs. Head lived at headquarters and Apgar.Mrs. Chester Mahoney and three children returned to Belton, Wednesday after spending a week in Havre with her sister and father, Louise and Mr. Pruys.Dave Cannavina’s sister, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McKitrick and friends Mr. and Mrs. James Goss and daughter Penny, all of 29 Palms, Calif, are house guests now of the Cannavinas.Incidentally, little Lois Canna-vina had a birthday Monday; she was three. Thompson and friends, Mrs. Lund and Miss Nelson; and Mrs. Merz and her mother Mrs. Eldridge.Linda Stevens, Kalispell spent the weekend visiting her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James Stevens and family.Little Mildred Keller returned from Kalispell, Monday after spending a week visiting friends.Mr. and Mrs. Dave Thompson, j and Mr. and Mrs. John Hoag spent last Thursday and Friday on a fishing trip to Kintla lake. Although they got some nice trout and whitef'sh, the storm interfered with their getting the big fish they were after.
