Radical Campaign Document. @The following is a copy of the low, ly ing, mendacious and incendiary docu ment which is being spread broadcast over the Southern States by the Radicals. These documents were hatched up in Washington, the lowest and most infa mous brothel on the American continent, and sent here by Express to criminal car pet-baggers and unprincipled thievish scallawags, for distribution among the colored people, for the purpose of inflam ing them against their own interest and their best friends, among whom they have been raised. The document is a LYE from beginning to end, and we hope that every white man who reads it, will cut it out, and read and expose its lying asser tions to every colored man with whom he meets. The substance of this document is what Pecker-head bill collins taught the colored people while here a week ago, a low, degraded specimen of humanity who has not sense enough to steal a cow without being caught—an enemy of eve ry interest of the country that gave him birth, loathesome, slimy, whom every re spectable citizen, both white and colored, should shun as he would a venomous rat tle. In the face of the action of this con temptible radical pimp, we ask, is there a decent white or colored man in Marion, who, on his return from Columbia, will condescend to speak to him? We trust not. Read the document and_ explain it to the colored people: To the Colored People of South Carolina: [Read this and give it to your neighbor.] Everyone knows that there are two parties in this State: one is called the Republican par ty, the other is known as the Democratic party. He composes the Republican arty . Answer.—Those who believe in equal rights a all men, without regard to color or birth ace. Q.—Who composes the Democratic party? A.—Every man who was a rebel and slavehold er,and who believes that a colored man has no right to have wages for his work, or the privileg of voting or educating his children. Q.—What will be the certain consequences to on ~~ired people if they vote the Democratic . A.—They will be deprived of the right to vote at all future elections. They will be reduced to slavery, or some con dition similar to it by Democratic laws. They will be requred to work without wages. They will not be allowed to leave the plantation on which they live without permission of their old owners. They will not be allowed to have guns or wea pons in their possession They will not be allowed to teach their children to and write. They will not be allowed to hear sermons preached by men of their own color. They will not be allowed to ride on railroads or in vessels accompanied by their mas ters They will not be allowed to visit their friends or relatives at a distance. Their wives and daughters will again be lia ble to be debauched at the will of their masters, as in the days of slavery. In short every evil wrder which the colored is suffered in the days of slavery will sure y come again, if the Democratic party comes into power. Every colored man who votes the Democratic ticket for SEYMOUR and BLAIR, is doing an act which will make him a slave. Every man knows the Republican party, under the lead of God, President Lincoln and General Grant, freed the whole colored race in slaver; and every man who knows anything, believes that the Democrats will, if they can, make them slaves again. When the Democrats offer you money or meat for your vote, take all thrive, except their way. Which will ruin you; but when you come to vote, vote for Grant and Colfax, and don’t be driven or cajoled out of it; stand up for your rights like men, and the Republican party will stand to you. Recollect that a colored man is as good as a white one but be quiet and peaceable, and Grant and Colfax will protect you after the election on the 3d of November next.
