Polly Hays honored at bridal showerPolly Hays was honored at an open house bridal shower at the city hall in Thompson on Sunday afternoon. Hostesses were her sisters and sister-in-law, Mrs. Bruce Qualley of Eagle Lake, Minn., Mrs. Tim Hays of Albert Lea, Minn., and Anita Hays. Decorations were in royal blue and yellow, the bride’s colors. A decorated bulletin board was available on which guests could place helpful hints for the bride.Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roll of Eldora • were special guests. Gifts were opened by Polly and her fiance, Jeffrey Roll.The couple will be married on Sept.3 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Leland.
