Services pending for Donald EssickThe Laurens Sun Oc't'Funeral services are pending for Donald Essick, 67, of Laurens. Mr. Essick died Tuesday morning at the Pocahontas Hospital.)He had been painting the | cross at the First Christian Church. He apparently felt ill and decided to come down the ladder but according to reports he fell before reaching i the bottom of the ladder. The Laurens ambulance and fire department were called and he was taken to the Pocahontas hospital where he died.He is survived by his wife, Doris ; one son, Greg and two daughters, Wanda, Mrs. Lance Gustafson of Laurens and Becky, Mrs. Michael Cundiff of Morrison, Colo.A complete obituary will be published next week.
