Eastern Star WasOrganized in 1903The Odebolt chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, No. 349, was organized in 1903 and received a charter in October of the same year..The following people were listed as charter members: Mrs. W. A. Helsell, Mrs. Mable Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Carlson, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Bay, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Lester, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Reynolds, John Mattes, Mrs. Mamie Fla-thers, M. D. Fox, Mrs. Lucinda Sutton, Carrie Lester, Mrs. Anna Green, J. W. Younie, William Graham, Mrs. Joe Mattes, C. J. Chin-berg, George Barclay, S. D. Selby and B. Brynteson.The the present time the local chapter has 136 members on the roll.
