The offer was for a five cent an hour increase. The strikers sought a 15 per cent pay boost. The union also sought an agreement whereby foremen would be union members. This demand was refused.R. M, Paxton, vice president of the company, arrived in Fullerton a few days ago to take up negotiations with the union. The strike has been under way since the first of the month.A letter sent W. N.
