The funeral of the 1ste George Ward, |of Lamont Alta, was eld from Pa | Church on Saturday afternoon, the ser “vices being conducted by the Rev. F. W. Geiling. Interment was made in the Mac Gregor cemetery. Mr. Ward was taken, | suddenly if| on Tuesday of last week, the [cause of his death being hemorrhage of the brain. On receipt of the news of his passing, Mrs MR. Little, his sister, left for the West, and made arrangements for the remains to be brought here. M. Ward, who was forty-four years of age, was a harness maker by trade, and for a Jeumber cf years resided at MacGregor land Carberry, before taking up his resi dence at Lamont. Besides his sister, he lis survived by three brothers, viz. Ran Lamont, and Charlo .The deepest sympathy of frends tended to Mrs. Litle and her brothers in their bereaseme!
