L. H. Ball is in Minority in Senatorial Race by Unof ficial Returns Wilmington, Del. Aug. 24.—The faction opposed to the renomin ation of Senator L. H. Ball, for an other term won the primary elec tion for delegates to the republican state convention which convenes in Dover on Tuesday. Unofficial but complete returns giue the anti-Ball organization 117 out of the 160 delegates to the convention. It is conceded that Ball will have 29 of the 38 delegates in the usual New Castle county and not more than 12 in Wilmington. All of the 40 in Kent county are against him and he only received two of the 42 in Sussex county. Despite the state ment of Coleman Dupont that he is not a candidate it is conceded that he will be nominated. Leaders made no secret that this was their object in elective delegates opposed to Senator Ball. General Dupont has not said he would accept or decline if nominated and the plan is to place his name before the con vention. Ball leaders admitted to day that if this was done General Dupont would win out.
