Rounding Up the Moonshiners. This week Sheriff Shockley and his â– deputies rounded up four violators of the prohibition law in the north country and they were arraigned before Justice Van Rhee at Milaca on Tuesday and penalized. The offenders were as follows:Frank and William Britton, Kathio, Chas. Hierholzer of Onamia village and Lambertus Scheepers of Bradbury. They were all charged with conducting unlicensed drinking places and each pleaded guilty.The Brittons were each fined $75 and costs, making $125 apiece for them to pay. Other charges pending against them were held in abeyance upon their promise to discontinue the illegal traffic. Hierholzer was fined $100 and costs, totaling $175, and Scheepers the same amount.
