MOB VICTIM IMPROVING.The report in last week’s Independent concerning the mobbing of F. F. Bosworth in Texas for preaching to mixed audiences of whites and blacks has been veri-! fied by communications since, except that his arm was not broken. It was badly bruised. He is recovering rapidly, however.The first attack of the mob, it was determined to shoot him; he asked privilege to say a few words and the mob dispersed. The second attack, however, resulted in his being cruelly knocked down repeatedly and forced to walk nine miles to hi^ home.« r • • •* i •
