SUSPECT IS CAUGHTSheriff Ferguson Arrests George BoucherWao is Wanted for the Murder of the Unknown Man Found in the Biter.Sheriff Ferguson on Monday caused the arrest on the docks in Chicago of (eorge Boucher, otherwise known here as “YVhiaky George. a aoloon habitue and generally regarded as a tough character, who it ia believed can throw some light on the murder of the unknown man found in the Caw Paw river at the canal last week.As heretofore narrated, Boucher was seen with a stranger answering the description of the drowned man as thee crossed the highway bridge together late the night before the body was found, and both seemed to be under the influence of liquor.When Boucher with other's went to look at the drowned man at Rowe’s undertaking rooms he was keenly watched by the officers and was seen to shiver as he ga/ed at the features of the dead man. That same night Boucher, who had bought a suit of clothes, although Ke was generally without money, disappeared and at once suspicion was aroused, inasmuch as it was decided that the dead man came to his end by foul means.Boucher was easily tracked to Chicago and was followed to that city early Monday morn mg by Sheriff Ferguson, who secured him and brought him to the county ail m St. Joseph, where he awaits a hearingBoucher s examination is set for September 1st and it is expected thatdlDlebrAtMthinansome startling facts will be brought to ^Itslight.
