J. R. Boyce, of this plaec, received a telegram Monday afternoon, stating that his brother-in-law Thomas If. Oldham who lived near Paoli, Kansas, had Committed suicide that morning. No particulars were given. Mr.Oldham formerly lived in this neighborhood. He went to Kansas a number of years ago and had become one of the prosperous tanners of that State. He was a gentleman held in the highest esteem by all who knew him. The news of his death will he received with sadness by his many friends.
