T A collision occurred on Thursday between a freight (ind a passenger train, onthe Covington and Lexington Rail Road, by which Sparks Perry, a conductor, was killed; John Whitmore, engineer, and P. Wright, fireman, fatally injured, and George Spillman, baggage master, badly injurod. Henry Kay, a passenger, had an arm broken, another his collar bone broken, and five others were injured, but not seriously. The locomotives and tenders, the baggage car, one passenger car, and four freight cars were smashed to pieces.
