May, who is now a resident of Suffern, has been elected to the board of Angelery Ltd., Leicester, England, a joint venture between Aerco International of North val, New Jersey, and British Steam Specialities Ltd. May is vice president of sales for Aerco International. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam. He has served on the Rockland County and Town of Ramapo planning boards. The Ramapo Zoning Board of Appeals, the Ramapo Recreation Commission and is a past director of Antrim Players of Suffers. Remington promoted officials at Colton-Pierrepont Central School announced today that Doyle Remington, an employee for 23 years, has been advanced by the Board of Education to Assistant Custodial Transportation Supervisor. In this capacity Remington will be in charge of all custodial and transportation opera tions in the absence of the Custodial Transportation Supervisor and assist in the performance of these duties regularly. The additional responsibilities will carry a salary of $1,020. He will continue to perform the duties of his own job title, repairman. , Simpkins appointed Pamela J. Simpkins of Potsdam has received an appointment as an in terviewer in the Colby College ad missions office through December. Simpkins, a Potsdam Central High School alumna, graduated in 1975 from Colby, where she earned dean’s list status as an art major. At the Oak Grove Coburn School in North Vassalboro last year she taught English, literature and art courses and special weekly programs in film and domestic crafts. GARNS SUPPLY has announced that Larry Robertson was assumed the post of manager at the Pine Street business. The former assistant manager has been with the company for seven years. Born Newton Falls, the son of Ward and Beulah Robertson, he has lived in the North Country for most of his life. A graduate of Potsdam High School, he is now living on the South Canton Road with his wife Jeanette and their children, Stephanie, 17; Ted, 15; and Bethany, 13.
