Bell Family Reunion.A reunion of relatives of the Bell family was held Sunday, August 20, in Island park, Cedar Fulls. Each family provided a well filled banket from which a sumptuous dinner lt;iC fried chicken and all the trimmings was served aL one o'clock on account of threatening weather.After dinner visiting and taking snap shots passed the time till mid afternoon. The gathering was then called to order by the president, W. H. Bell. A short business meeting followed, at which the old officers were all re-elected for the coming year. Next year the meeting will be the Lhirci Sunday in August at Cedar Falls.Those who attended the meeting were the following Wm, Bell, Omaha, Nebr.: Mr, and Mr*. .C, B. Mavtcr, Vinton; Mrs. IX B, Frisby and family, Dumont; Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Bell* Buckingham, la.; Mr. and Mrs. Mark Bell and daughters, Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Powell and daughter, Hudson; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Bell and daughter, Buckingham, la.; Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Mar ter and family, Brandon; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Marter and family, Rowley, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Ufford, Aredale, Ta. Visitors were Miss Mary Flaherty, Pocahontas, In.; Miss Hurtha Jensen, Hudson, Iowa; Miss Annie, Buckingham, Iowa.The oldest person present was Wm. Bell of Omaha who is seventy-eight; the youngest was Helen Marie, thirteen months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Waiter, Fowity, la.
