EUSTIS’ IS GOING TO GET LIT UPThe installation of a new white way system for Eustis. by the Florida Public Service Company, will be, when finished, one of the most modern and adequate white way systems in Lake county. The plans Call for the erection of 68 lamps as shown above, in the downtown section of Eustis extending from Gottsche avenue to Or-nge avenue on Bay street; from MacDonald avenue to Orange avenue on Eustis street; from MacDonald to Orange on Grove; from the E. L. Ferran Park to Grove on MacDonald, and from the E. L. Ferran Park to Grove street on Magnolia.The lights will be placed in such position that there will be eight lamps at each business intersection. Besides the eight lamps oh each corner there will be two lamps in the middle of each block on either side of the street. The lamps are of the Arcadian type, using a 400 candle power bulb in a Sol-Lux Senior Top as put out by the Westinghouse Electric Co.
