Disgraced* Army Captain Ends Life.Port Townsend.—-Confronted with charges of conduct unbecoming to an officer and a gentleman, as a result of his alcoholic excess, Captain Frank T. Thornton, of the 61id company. United States coast artillery, committed suicide by taking chloral hydrate in his rooms at Fort Worden, near this city.
