Mrs. M. Y. Kirk« left here onAug. 2, accompanied by her sisterMrs. Sarah Elsbrrry, for Virginia City, ILL, fco attend the family reunion held at the home of Mrs. Amanda Stout and Mias PattleQrecn. The following named children of the Green family were all together for the first time in fourty years. Mrs. Sarah Eisberry Wellsville, Mo., Mrs. Mary Kirks, Middletown, Mo., Mrs. Mfttle Mathes, Adrian, Mo., Jacob Green Butler, Mo., Pattie Green and | Amanda Stout, Virginia City, 111., and Sue Bellingsley, Ewing, 111. The seven children weighed 1283 pounds, and the sum of their ages was 125years and? months. These children remained together ten days which were days of happiness to this family that had been ao long ueperated. Bnt on Aug. 13, Mrs. Mary Kirks returned here to her home, accompanied by her brother and two sisters, Jacob Green, Sarah Eisberry and Mittie Mathes. Then on Aug. 14 a family reunion was held here at her home, there being thirty-three present. Among those present were her five children, fifteen grand-children and two great* grand-children. They all spent an enjoyable day and may the Lord permit many more such gatherings.O. U. Kmow.
