Deserted, She Killed Herself.Sirs. Enock Gee, a middle aged woman, residing in Galvestown, took three ounces of laudanum recently, probably with suicidal intent, and died soon after taking the drug. Enoch Gee, an idle, worthless fei-' low, has lived with his wife and four children in Gatvestown for some time. It is alleged that Gee spent most of his time fishing and loaiing on the street corners while his wife supported herself and the children by taking in washing and other menial work. A few days ago, ifc was. said, her husband went to Bonaparte on a; fishing trip. After remaining there for some time, he is said to have written a letter to his wife, announcing that he had found a girl iu that place with whom he intended to live in the future and that his wife need not expect him back again.
