John G. Johnson COLUMBIA — Mr. John G. Johnson, of 1555 Farmview St, entered into rest August 18, 2006. Funeral services will be at 1 pam. Friday, August 25, 2006, at Frances Burns United Meth olist Church, 5616 Farrow Rd., Columbia. Mr. Johnson was a Korean War Veteran and a graduate of SC State College. Survivors include 1 brother, Waymon J. Johnson of Aiken, Bostick-Thompkins Funeral Home in charge of arrange ments, G.L. Brighthorp Sons Mor tuary, 390 Beaufort St. Aiken, (803) 648-0134, Victor Humberto Torres Victor Humberto Tores, infant son of Victor Manuel and Eliza beth Larson Torres, of Midland MI, died Saturday, August 19, in the University of Michigan Medi cal Center The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am, Friday, August 25, from the graveside at the Tyler Family Cemetery, with Reverend Jose Rodolfo Lache Avila cele brant. Final prayers and commen dations will follow. In addition to his parents, Victor is survived by his brother, Peter Manuel Torres; his maternal grand mother, Carolyn and Charles Katz of Ridgewood, NJ. His mater nal grandfather, Stephen Larson, paternal grandparents, Victor M. ‘Torres Sr. and Roselina Morales ‘Torres, preceded him in death. West WAGENER — Mrs. Margaret Hydrick West, 76, entered into rest Tuesday, August 22, 2006, Mrs. West was born in Aiken County, the daughter of the late Fred Q. and Azalee Martin Hydrick. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin West, son, Michael West, and brothers, Rhett, Kenny and Jack Hydrick Mrs. West was a retired Postal Carrier with the Wagoner Post Office. She attended Pauline Church of Christ survived by sons law, Eddie and Karen West of Wagener and Tim othy and Wendy West of Fair view; grandchildren, Jeremy and Mary West, Carrie and Michael ‘Smoak, Haley West and Abby West; ‘brothers and sisters-in law, Ray and Mozelle Hydrick of ‘Aiken, Jimmy and Wilma Hydrick of Summerville; sisters, Frances Valverde of Deming, N.M., and Maudelle Fallon of West Columbia. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, S.C. 803) 564-5333. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 24 at 11:00 am. in the Pau re Church of Christ with the Reverend Rick Farwell officiati ng.
