By E. W. GRUNDY DEADWOOD — Mrs. J. Nick lason and Mrs. Jas. Nicklason spent last weekend at Edmonton. Mrs. Nicklason attended a wed ding at Spruce Grove. Mrs. C. Madill of Edmonton is staying at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nicklason. Mrs. A. Ylen left by bus for Edmonton to visit her son and family Mr. and Mrs. L. Yleen. Then on to Lloydminist er, Alta,, to visit an uncle and aunt who were to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniver sary. Mrs. O. Wells is at Ed monton to visit son Dale who is a patient in the University Hospital. Returning from holidays re cently were Mr. and Mrs. Risto Karlson, Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Sibley, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Simpson, and Mrs.E Simpson and Russell, Mr. and Mrs. T. Waterhouse of Saltcoats Sask. have been visiting at the Dittrick homes and at the Kammer brothers’ home. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Kammer of Strathnaver B.C. have been visiting at the Dittricks and Kammers homes. The C.W.U.C. held their monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. John Nicklason. Mr. Palmer Reese and son David of Edmonton are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Reese, J. Caverley of Ottawa, On tario is a visitor in the district visiting his former friends and neighbors he knew when a res ident in this area, Murray Dittrick and Eric Karlson are attending air cadets camp at Penhold. Mrs. P. Reese has returned home after a trip to Gull Lake Alta,
