Kirk to Head Roland SchoolS. E. Kirk for a number of years superintendent of Gore public school system was selected by the Roland school board as head oj^ the U. G. No. 1 school system to succeed J. H, Dodson, who recently resigned to accept the superintendency of Howard County, Arkansas schools.» Mr. Kirk has been identified with Sequoyah county schools during the past 15 years. He came here from Indiana and bega^n his teaching career here near Long and since that time he has been head of various schools of $le county.The Roland school was the firstconsolidated U. G. district in the coun-■ *ty. The district has a fine $15,000 school /building and has an accredited high school. Students are transported from various prats of the district in motor busses.
