Mrs Homer Jones and little daughter, Thelma Freeda, spent the weekend with her parents, Bud Qualkinbush and wife, of near Windom. Just arrived, Monday, a new clover bullet for John A Jones. Miss Willa Line, of Dubois, spent Friday with her cousin, Miss Ruby Jones. The lightning Saturday afternoon killed two fine cows for John A Jones. Henderson Qualkinbush was in this vicinity one evening last week. Visitors at Noah Kerns’ Sunday were: Hovey Pendley and wife,Mrs JS Jones, Mrs Oscar Jones and little son, William Donald, Elvis Jones and family, and A P Tredway and family. Mayme, Golda and Bertha Collins spent Sunday with their cousin, Pearl Jones. Homer Kerns attended the basket dinner at Willham Sunday. Lucy Belle Jones spent Monday with her grandmother, Mrs JS Jones. Grandma’’ Hawkins, of French Lick, came down Saturday to spend a few weeks with her daughter, Mrs Geo Jones. Fred Goller, wife, and son, Willie, and George Bauerfind and family spent Sunday at Lacy. Misser Lucy, Hazel and Mazie Jones and Roy Dockins attended the basket dinner at Fairview Sunday.
