Mr. and Mrs. James Crowley, th street, Old Orchard Beach, received an invitation from Cong. Laurence Curtis to attend the United States Senate reception to be held at their summer home, Tuck's Point, Mancheter, Mass. August 16. They also received an invita tion to the luncheon meeting at Hotel Edison, Lynn, Mass., Au gust 24, in honor of Elliot L. Richardson, candidate for the Republican nomination for at ttorney-general of Massachusetts. Both Mr. and Mrs. Crowley are precinct Jaeders of Ward 6, Re publican City Committee of Lynn. The Crowleys attended the Cen tennial being held at the histori cal Methodist Camp meeting grounds at Hedding, N. H. Ac companying them were Miss Gail, Mackiernan, Wheaton, Md.; the Crowley's daughter, Charla; also Dick York, Dover, N. H. A feature of the Centennial was the parade of members of the Hedding Camp in costumes of 1862, Mrs. Crowley led the Bishop’s parade. Other features were the horse drawn surreys with fringe on top, and top buggies of ancient vin tage. Another was the Galilean service held on the shores of the artificial lake. Mrs. Crowley's family for four generations had summer cottages at the Hedding Camp, and also for two or three generations at Old Orchard Beach.
