Mrs. C. R. Dunakin and son Fred of Grand Rapids were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Chase. Jerry Packard of Kalamazoo spent the week-end with his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Packard. Sister Jean Marie Birkman and Sister Rose of Grand Rapids are spending 10 days at the Peter Birkman home. This is the first time Sister Jean Marie has visited at the Birkman home in four years. Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Boyle and Mr. and Mrs. Jim McCracken and family of Grand Rapids spent the week end at the Boyle home. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Simpson and sons visited relatives in White Cloud Sunday. Mrs. Anna Garnett has returned to her home near Shelby after spending three weeks with her daughter Mrs. Viola Bowers. Alto Marie Strayer is a house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Raby of Muskegon this week. Mrs. William Bunting and daughter Vickie have returned to Joliet, Ill. after spending two months at the E. L. Bunting home. E. L. Bunting returned to Hart Sunday after spending a few days at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis White and son Martin of Elbridge and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Klatt and daughter Shirley enjoyed a trip to the fish hatchery at Paris Sunday. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hasted at Blue lake. Mrs. Linda Blamer and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hill and son of Muske gon visited Mr. and Mrs. George Blamer Sunday. The Rev. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Burner of Buffalo, N. Y. are house guests of Mrs. Burner’s’ sister, Mrs. Frances Houghteling. They were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Houghteling and in the evening visited Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Houghteling of Muskegon. Mr. and Mrs. Hilbert Klotz and family of Benton Harbor were week-end guests at the Howard Klotz home. Howard Klotz returned Sunday from having been a patient at Oce ana hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Shafer of Muskegon Heights were week-end guests at the Guy Strayer home. Mr. and Mrs. Arius Bowers and Ronny, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bow ers and family and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mead and daughters visited Mrs. Viola Bowers during the past week. Miss Jackie Monroe of. Muskegon visited in Walkerville over the week-end. Mrs. Bernice Reed went to Lake view recently to meet Mrs. Mabel Christian of Orlando, Fla. Mrs. Reed, Mrs. Christian and Mrs. Guy Walker of Lakeview went to Wol verine to visit Mr. and Mrs. Albert Skinner over the week end. Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Christian re turned to Walkerville Monday. Fifteen Boy Scouts and Lyle Frick and Don Deephouse camped Saturday night near Ruby Creek Mr. and Mrs. Ray McDonald vis ited the Scouts Sunday and also en joyed a trip north. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Boyle and children of Muskegon, spent the week end with Mr. Boyle’s par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Boyle. Cherry harvest for the season will soon end at the Henry Graff farm. Mrs. Charlie Walker and daugh ter Karan and Mrs. Floyd Hind bough and sons of Honor visited Valhalla friends Monday. They were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Trenary.
