LYNNWOOD, Aug. 21 — An automobile driven by Larkin Mor ris of Hershey, Pa., skidded on a newly oiled stretch of roadway near New Market, Monday morn ing and landed in a ditch nearby. The Morris family were home ward bound after having spent the week with relatives here. Of the eight occupants in the car only three were hurt. Mr. and Mrs. Morris’ five children escap ed unhurt. Mr. Morris was treated at Rock ingham Memorial Hospital for head injuries, Mrs. Morris for three fractured ribs, and Mrs. Sallie Morris of Lynnwood, for hand injuries. The automobile was towed to Harrisonburg for re pairs. Later in the day the oc cupants returned to Lynnwood where they spent the night and left again the next morning for Pennsylvania.
