HIKING CLUB ENABLES ; STUDENT TO VISIT THE POINTS OF INTERESTKlt;r students detirinf to. visit the many i««nM ottwtiosi and mtynl ' wonders to be found in the Flag-| »t«ff vicinity, the Hiking club which functions during the regular term of the college provides the way and the means to do so.Almost every week the duh has a trip planned to somo interesting place around Flagstaff. Sometimes these trip* take in two or more days and at other times they are planned only for a Saturday or Sunday or ftinfla evening.Through the Hiking club the college claims the distinction of having the first and only permanent college camping site in Phantom Canyon ofthe Grand Canyon.Last year the club worked to^Jird becoming affiliated with several national organizations, which purpose they hope to realize the coming year.Short hikes conducted by tbo duo take the Hiking club members to Walnut Canyon Cliff Dwellings, San Francisco Peaks, Oak Creek Canyon, Sunset Mountain* Ice Caves, Mount Elden, Observatory Hill, Bellmont Caves, Lako Mary and Mormon Lake, and to all the other famous places within a short distance of the college. The longer bikes include tripe to Grand Canyon, Rainbow Natural Zzlli, iietoor Mountain and the Indian Reservations of this part of the state. J
