uuvPUUUUUUUUUOOOQOOO0 oo HAMBURG oO 0oooooooooooooooooooWe had another big rain last Saturday afternoon that will make lots of corn.Quite a number of our farmers are Jigging their potatoes and they report them to be turning out good.There was quite a home coming at the old home of Mr. David Craiglow last Sunday. Quite a good dinner was had. All kinds of good things were served.Mrs. Irving Vickroy has been quite 111 for the past week but is reported some better this morning. Her father and mother were called to her bed side.Walter Behrens who had his arm broken some weeks ago is getting along very nicely.Mr. Clarence Vickroy and best friend were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vickroy. *Seth Mowery of the B. I. S. is home on the sick list.Mrs. Fred Moore of Springfield, who has been spending a few weeks with her mother has returned to her home.Rev. Father Kessler of Gallipolis, and his sister and Miss Elizabeth Vag-nier and Miss Lena Youlk of Lancaster made a very pleasant call on Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Larger last week. ,Mr. and Mrs. Eli Vickroy were the Sunday guests of Tom Vickroy near Amanda Sunday.*Sister Afra and Sister Celestia of St. Francis in Wisconsin, in the world Miss Elizabeth and Miss Alice Guis-inger are enjoining a ten days visit with their parents Mr. and Mrs. William Guisinger and family. This is the first visit of the SisteTS since entering the order going on seven years. Last Thursday Rev. Father Mattingly of Lancaster and Rev. C. B. Tiepe of Danville of Knox County made the Sisters a visit. Also did Rev. Father Kessler and his sister; and last Sunday a family reunion was held at the home at which all the Guisinger | children and all the grand-children were present. In all 38 were there for dinner. The Sisters will depart for 1 their home next Thursday. Mr. Chas, .Guisinger and his family of Shelby and William Guisinger of Ind., de-' parted Monday morning for their home.,I AMBROSE LARGER.
