A Church Benefit.Rev. Wilson Hobson, a negro Bap* tlst preacher wass arrested here Monday charged with sellihg liquor. He was placed under a $500 bopd. It Is claimed by the members of Hobson’s church that he sOld liquor to the members in Srder; to get money to pay off a church debt. The members drank the whisky and were perfectly willing that their pastor should sell it to them so long as the money went to pay off the chui'ch debt. Hobson *was arrested by Bass Reeves, a negro deputy marshtUv who was baptized by Hobson three years ago. * ‘ • *
