Sudden Death-Dr. J. W. Clifford received a letter yesterday giving fuller particulars of his father’s death, at Burns, Kansas. We mentioned the sad event in otu issue, but at that time the only information we couid secure was conveyer: in a brief telegram, received by th ; doctor. The letter states that Mr Clifford suddenly dropped dead in thebarn. He was apparently in the best of health and had started to harnes; a team and go to the field. Later h : was found lying dead in the stable. Death had been instantaneous, an i was due to apoplexy.
